The trust of our donors is essential. Therefore, the Vittatus Foundation has designed a special program with a trustee who joins our mission by offering a preferential administration fee. It is an optional program in which our benefactor (trustor) delivers its donation to a trust fund with precise investment instructions. At the end of the project, the Vittatus Foundation presents an investment report as a technical document in which a social impact study is carried out, showing to the donor what the social profitability of his investment was. It is an international methodology validated in Colombia by the Vittatus Foundation, in which it is possible to calculate the benefit of any investment through the aggregate valuation of the economic, productive, social, and environmental impacts. Our statutory auditor supports the investment report and signs the corresponding donation certificate.
whether you are interested in sponsoring any of our programs, become a companion to an associative group, a community, or a rural MSM in the agri-food sector. Your contribution, not only financial but also experience and motivation will be essential to achieve the success of a rural enterprise.
One of the greatest difficulties in the Colombian countryside is associated with the aging of t rural population. According to the National Agricultural Census, the average age of agricultural producers in Colombia is 58 years. It´s a truth, our young people don't want to work in rural areas. Hence, we should act promptly to change this scenario, generating comprehensive actions in different areas:
1. Accompaniment to educational institutions with medium and technical education programs in agri-food and environmental issues for improving their Institutional Educational Project and achieve curricular reforms that allow relevant education.
2. Internships for teachers of the middle, the technical and vocational educational level in research groups, research and technological development centers and highly innovative companies, domestic and foreign. in order to update knowledge that will motivate students in these areas of training.
3. Financing of training/production microprojects for students of educational institutions with agri-food and environmental technical level for the generation of high impact rural entrepreneurship.
4. Scholarships for students from educational institutions with technical skills in agri-food and environmental issues so that they can access national and/or foreign universities in professional programs related to the sector.
